    clean guesthouse
    simple setup
    good parking
    limited common areas

We loved our stay here with the kids and my elderly parents. The unstaffed setup kept things simple and cost-effective. It was really clean, and the parking was a bonus. Don’t forget to have your smartphone ready for entry codes!

My kids wished for more options in the common areas.

    welcoming hosts
    rushed breakfast hours

The hosts were exceptionally welcoming and made my stay fun, though

I found the early morning hours of breakfast a bit too rushed for my preference. Nonetheless, the location and the beautiful view of the castle from my room made up for it, along with the charming local insights from James and Alison.

    comfy bed
    spotless bathroom

I stayed in the Twin Room with Shower for 6 nights. The bed was super comfy, and the shower had a nice rain feature that felt luxurious. Everything was spotless, and I loved the cozy atmosphere. The little touches like quality towels made a difference. Oh, and the breakfast options were fantastic, with homemade items that stood out! felt very much at home.
